He Quan - PhD Student, Complex Problem Solving
Quan HE is Doctorate Student at the School of Psychology and Behavioral Science, Zhejiang University. His research focuses on the group effectiveness of group complex problem solving and cross-cultural learning behavior. In particular, he is currently conducting research on the dynamic process of group complex problem solving. The purpose of this research is to understand of the determinants for group complex problem solving.
Zheng Jiewei - Graduate Student, Cross-Cultural Learning
Zheng Jiewei, graduate student at the School of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences of Zhejiang University. Since joined in Prof. Tjitra's research team one year ago, she has participated in CCL (Cross-Cultural Learning) Project and several trainings or workshops as an assistant. And now she is continuing the CCL project with new focus of multiple roles of Chinese trainers in Corporate Trainings.
Zhang Wei - Graduate Student, Intercultural Competence & Sensitivity
Zhang Wei was born in Yantai ,a city near the sea
and grew up in the Spring City--Jinan. Having
finished her graduate years in Wuxi near Tai Lake
,she began her undergraduate studies near the
beautiful Xi Lake. She likes water a lot but
still can't swim well.However she can play table
tennis well and likes reading and thinking. Her
research is focus on intercultural sensitivity
and she is also interested in I/O psychology as
well as social psychology.To be a professor doing
researches she is interested in and helpful to
the society is her aim.
Liang Jie - Graduate student, Cross-Cultural Learning
Liang Jie, born and studied
in Peking, worked in Shanghai, and now
begins a new study in Hangzhou. She has just
become a member of Professor Tjitra’s Team
and hopes to learn more from all the team
members.
She is interested in both Human Resource
Management and Management Psychology. So she
hopes to do more research on the two subjects and
try to find more connections between the two
fields. The final target is to get more
scientific and humanistic management strategies.
Liu Jun - Undergraduate Student, Intercultural Competence & Sensitivity
Liu Jun, 21 years old. My research is
focus on intercultural sensitivity, aiming to
develop a scale to predict how well a Chinese
will perform in intercultural contexts.
Psychological issues in human-computer
interaction are also attractive for me. Now
I'm practicing user interface design as an
intern in Intel Asia-Pacific Research &
Development Ltd. Besides, swimming and travel are
two integrant enjoyments in my life.
Zhou Nan - Undergraduate Student, Intercultural Competence & Sensitivity
“Conquering difficult
challenges is what I always pursuit,
just making life worthwhile!”
That’s why I joined the team, and is also my
attitude towards life and research.
---I am Zhou Nan, born in Beijing and now
studying in Southern China. With a particular
exchange experience in Singapore, I am focusing
on Chinese intercultural sensitivity in the team,
and also taking the responsibility for the
Comparative Study on Chinese and Indonesian
Intercultural Sensitivity, in collaboration with
Atma Jaya University, Jakarta, Indonesia. Doing
research at eastern cultural background in
western work style is my best happiness in this
team.
What’s more, natural endowment of attracting
children makes me especially interested in
Developmental psychology. Helping Children grow
healthily and develop happily, whatever their
cultural background, is my dream!
Fang Huizhen - Undergraduate Student, Intercultural Competence & Sensitivity
"who we were, who we are and who we wish to be",what I want to know and what makes me join in this team.I am a senior student,and have enjoyed the time of this team for 1 year.
Now I am focucing on the ICS project.
Future work: I am interested on the topic"whether the pattern of people dealing with foreigners same with people from the same culture?"

Ran Shan - Undergraduate Student, Cross-Cultural Learning
Ran Shan, 21 year-old, born in Nanjing. Now I'm a
undergraduate student of Zhejiang University,
major in psychology. As a member of cross-culture
psychology team under the supervision of
Prof.Hora Tjitra, I show interests and put effort
into our culture issues. Recently, I focus on the
"Cross-culture Learning" project. I'm interested
in photography and traveling, and used to take
the leadership in "YoWo" photography club in the
university.
Xu Yunchun - Undergraduate Student, Cross-Cultural Learning
Xu Yunchun has been joining
the team for one year. Her primary interest
covers CCL ( Cultural Learning) and she is
now devoting with projects to it. The
research undertaking is to discover
different learning patterns among people
with different cultural background,
especially focusing on Chinese learners’
prominent characteristics with surrounding
country inhabitants as well as Westerns. She
is also fancy with sports, especially a
devotee of tennis and swimming.
Christine Bartsch - Research Intern, Regensburg University, Germany
I am Christine Bartsch, studying Magister Soziology, Psychology, Gender Studies and Religious Sciences in Regensburg, Germany. After absolving a degree in Intercultural Management I worked for Prof. Alexander Thomas through whom I became a member of the team of Hora Tjitra. My main project is t he ICS.
This is a great chance for me to learn, not only in theoretical aspects, more about intercultural competence in chinese culture.
